Full Description
Denamarin is a liver health supplement that combines stabilized S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) with a silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex to support one of your pet's most vital organs. The liver removes toxins, stores energy, aids digestion, and supports the immune system β€” and Denamarin is formulated to help it do that work. SAMe helps increase levels of glutathione, a major liver antioxidant, while silybin (a bioactive component of milk thistle, shown to absorb better than standard milk thistle extract) helps maintain a healthy oxidative balance. This 90 mg strength is sized for cats and small dogs up to 12 lbs. Each enteric-coated tablet is individually sealed in a moisture-resistant blister pack, since SAMe is sensitive to moisture. Made in the USA from globally sourced ingredients by Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, the #1 veterinarian-recommended supplement company.*

Active Ingredients (per tablet)

  • S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe): 90 mg
  • Silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex (SPC): 31 mg, providing 9 mg Silybin A+B

Administration
Give on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before a meal, for best absorption. Do not split or crush β€” the enteric coating must stay intact. Keep tablets in the blister pack until use.

Body Weight Tablets per Day
Up to 12 lbs (5.5 kg) 1
Over 12 lbs (5.5 kg) 1 twice daily

Denamarin is best given on an empty stomach β€” food significantly reduces SAMe absorption. If your pet has liver disease, kidney disease, or diabetes, or is pregnant or lactating, speak with your veterinarian before use, as SAMe may lower blood glucose. The number of tablets can be adjusted up or down over time on your vet's advice.cat
