When your Softpaws nail cap kit runs low on adhesive — or when you want to keep a supply on hand for regular nail cap maintenance — Softpaws replacement adhesive glue provides the same non-toxic, nail-safe bonding formula included in the original kit. Formulated specifically for vinyl nail cap bonding, this adhesive provides reliable hold that keeps caps in place for the full 4-6 week wear cycle.
The 2 g tube provides enough adhesive for approximately 2-3 full application cycles on all front paws. Apply 1/3 full in each nail cap before pressing onto the extended claw. Hold for 30-60 seconds. Non-toxic and safe for cat use.
Is this the same adhesive as in the Softpaws kit?
Yes — identical formula to the adhesive included with the Softpaws Kitten Kit and adult nail cap sets.
Can I use this with Masked Claw nail caps?
Yes — the adhesive is compatible with vinyl nail caps from any brand.
Replacement adhesive for the Softpaws nail cap system — the same safe, non-toxic cyanoacrylate formula included with the original Softpaws kitten and adult cat nail cap kits. Designed to provide reliable vinyl-to-claw bonding for the full 4-6 week nail cap wear cycle without the excessive flow or rapid set time that makes hardware-store adhesives problematic for this application.
The 2 g tube provides approximately 2-3 complete application cycles on a full set of front paw nail caps. Apply 1/3 of the cap's capacity with adhesive before pressing onto the fully extended claw. Hold firmly for 30-60 seconds. Adhesive reaches full cure within a few minutes. Avoid contact with eyes and skin during application — use a cotton tip applicator for precise filling if needed.
Compatible with nail caps from Softpaws, Masked Claw, and most other vinyl nail cap brands. Store sealed tubes in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. If the tube tip becomes clogged between uses, use a clean pin to clear the opening rather than squeezing forcefully, which may crack the tube. Non-toxic when cured; the brief application process should be supervised to prevent ingestion of uncured adhesive.
When to replace: Replace your adhesive tube when it no longer flows freely, when the adhesive has partially cured inside the tube reducing flow, or after 12 months from opening regardless of remaining volume. Fresh adhesive produces significantly more reliable bonds than aged or partially cured product.
